5.5.5 Data storage setting (SAVE)
The data storage setting is enabled by setting [SAVE] to "ON".
Data which can be stored are test results (hardness value, XY position data, D1/D2 values, set
hardness conversion, C1/C2 values (only in the fracture toughness test)) and ocular zero-position
data.
Data will be stored by pressing the termination switch before turning off the power.
The stored data can be checked in the "DATA EDIT" screen. (Refer to "5.4.3".)
CAUTION
1. Do not touch this hardness testing machine during terminate operation.
2. If the ocular is rotated after executing the terminate operation, make sure to perform
zero-set of the ocular at the time when turning on the power again.
3. Data will be lost if the power is not supplied for a long period of time.
(Continuous power distribution for 8 hours will charge the backup batteries. The
backup period is approx. 15 days.)
1. Set [SAVE] to "ON".
5.5.5.1 Restoration of backup data
Turn off the power by pressing when data storage is set to "ON". (Refer to "4.1.5
Completion of hardness test".)
The hardness data will be restored after verifying backup data with each checkup data, when the
power is turned on again and the start switch is pressed.
