1. Rotate left measuring knob.
Retry the zero reset operation of the Measuring microscope, steps 1. to 4. described above, for
the following cases:
1. When the power is turned on at the power off state with the data save setting "SAVE" set to
OFF (when the test was finished and the power was turned off for the day, and back it on the
next day);
2. When measuring with a different magnification lens;
3. When the zero-reset button is pressed with a state other than the cases above;
4. At an error occurrence during data restoring;
5. When the Measuring microscope is rotated after turning off the power or pressing the end
switch;
6. When the unit is not in use for a long time; (Continuous power distribution for 8 hours will
charge the backup batteries.) The backup period is approx. 15 days.)
4.1.4.2 Indentation measurement at Vickers hardness test
1. Operate the left measuring knob to align the measuring line at the left end of the indentation.
2. Operate the right measuring knob
to align the measuring line at the
right end of the indentation.
At this moment, the display of D1
changes.
3. Press the diagonal length of
indentation input switch once.
The D1 display is fixed.
