3. Enter the test force (hardness symbol) and press the [ENT] button. ⇒ Returns to the
"MEASUREMENT" screen.
[CLR]: Zero-clears the test force.
[ESC]: Restores the previous setting and numeric key closes.
[ENT]: Sets the test force.
Pressing returns to the "MEASUREMENT" screen.
5.6.4 Contact velocity setting
Set the speed for the indenter to approach the specimen. • The available value is 2 to 60μm/s.
The setting value can be entered in steps of 1μm/s.
Important
This function is valid only for the test force of HV0.03 or less when using HM-220A.
For reference:
The contact velocity when using HM-210A is fixed to 60μm/s.
1. Press
in the "MEASUREMENT" screen.
2. "FORCE", "SPEED" and "GUIDE FOR CONDITION SETTING" are displayed.
3. Press the button of "SPEED".
