5.2 SETUP 1
· The setting items described in 5.2.1 to 5.2.3 can be called from the "SETUP 1" screen.
Description Names

Press in the "MEASUREMENT" screen. ⇒ The "SETUP 1" screen is displayed.
5.2.1 Conversion setting (CONVERSION)
Convert the Vickers hardness to the specified hardness scale.
In case conversion failed when hardness measurement is finalized, "OVER" will be displayed.
For reference:
"HARD" means the table for steel material, "SOFT" means the table for soft steel
material, and "73" means the table for seven-three brass (compound of 70% brass and
30% zinc).
CAUTION
1. Only one conversion can be set for a hardness value.
2. The types of selectable conversion tables differ according to the hardness scale
setting.
