Precautions for Use
● This unit is a hardness testing machine.
Do not use this system for any purpose other than such test.
● This system is a precision machine.
Exercise great care when handling this machine. Never bump or apply excessive
force to any of the parts during operation.
● Rectify the installation environments. (Refer to "2. Installation" for further
information.)

● Do not touch this machine during operation.
The unit is a motor-driven hardness testing machine. To prevent your hands or objects
being accidentally pinched during test, do not go near the machine while it is operating.
● Gently install the specimen stage.
If the specimen stage is subject to large impact, it could be damaged. Exercise great care
when putting a specimen on the stage.
● Pay attention to working clothes and shoes.
Wearing slippers is prohibited; make sure to wear safety shoes.
The heat radiated by the human body can influence measurements.
Also wear long sleeves to avoid abrasions, etc. by the edges of the workpiece.
● Be sure to turn off the power during connection and maintenance.
To avoid accidents or electric shock due to malfunction of the machine under operation, be
sure to turn off the power before performing connection or maintenance.
● Be careful of unexpected machine movement when replacing the specimen.
When replacing the specimen, exercise great care to avoid personal injury due to sudden
unexpected movement of the machine.
