3 Preparation for the test
This chapter describes preparation for the test.
3.1 Leveling
Important
・Before using the hardness testing machine, leveling the machine is required.
CAUTION
When rotting the leveling bolts, be careful so that your fingers or hands are not pinched.
1. In the case that the tester is fixed with bolts (2pcs) through the hole ofφ9 at the bottom of
back side of the tester, loose the bolts to the position where the heads are 2mm away from
the fixing board. (Fig. 3-1)
