5.4.2 List of statistics (STATISTICS)
The result of the hardness test statistical analysis is displayed in a list form.
Press [STATISTICS]. ⇒The "SURFACE" screen is displayed.
The content of the statistic list is as follows.
N Measuring points
MAX Maximum value
MIN Minimum value
AVR Average value
RNG Range
UPPER Upper limit
LOWER Lower limit
GOOD The passed number
OVER
The number of the values
exceeding the upper limit
UNDER
The number of the values
falling below the lower limit.
SD(n-1) Standard deviation (n-1)
SD(n) Standard deviation (n)
Pressing
outputs the statistic list to the external output connector.
Pressing returns to the previous screen.
Pressing returns to the "MEASUREMENT" screen.
Important
1. When judgment is set to [OFF], the number of measuring points is displayed in the
column of "GOOD".
2. The passed number in the fracture toughness test is the ones resulted between
upper limit and lower limit. It is different from the OK/±NG display in the
"MEASUREMENT" screen. (For information on the OK/±NG display, refer to "4.2.3
Fracture toughness test".)
