5.2 Test Print Menu
Performs nozzle check of Print head and setup list.
•Refer to the following for the operation procedure of test print.
3.5 Test print
Setup item Description
Nozzle Check Perform the nozzle check printing.
It is used to check whether there are any clogged heads, or missing/blurred prints.
3.5.1 Nozzle check
Mode Print Mode print can be performed.
Used to confirm the following printing conditions.
• Print quality
•Effect
• Pre-heater temperature (VJ-1624X only)
• Platen heater temperature (VJ-1624X only)
• Dryer temperature (VJ-1624X only)
• Media feed compensation micro adjustment value
3.5.2 Mode print
Setup List Setup list printing is performed.
Used to check the setup item and the user type.
3.5.3 Setup print
Palette Palette printing is performed as a color demonstration.
Color verifier
(VJ-1624X only)
Color patches are printed and then measured by using the optional Spectrophotometer
(SPECTROVUE VM-10). Used when checking the difference between the currently printed
colors and the ones in the past.
3.5.5 Color verifier (VJ-1624X only)
— • [Enter] key: "Printing" is displayed on Operation panel and test printing starts.
• [Cancel] key: shifts to the previous menu.
