S8-3t TEE Transducer Description
The S8-3t is a very small TEE transducer, which makes it ideal for:
• Very fine manipulation for small patients, including neonates, pediatrics, and
small adults
• Adult 2D multiplane imaging with oral intubation
• TEE patients with constricted airways
• Smaller adults with weak esophageal tissue
NOTE
Philips recommends that you use the S8-3t transducer only on patients weighing
at least 2.5 kg (5.5 lb).
