Gobo Module Assembly Removal
WARNING: Ensure that power is completely removed (disconnected) from luminaire before
attempting any work.
To remove gobo module assembly:
Step 1. Remove power from luminaire and allow unit to completely cool.
Step 2. Remove front and rear cover assemblies (see “Front Cover Assembly Removal” on page 19
and “Rear Cover Assembly Removal” on page 20).
Step 3. At MCU, disconnect lamp fans harness at J6.
Step 4. At Driver Board, disconnect Gobo Module and CYMD Module harness.
Step 5. For VL770 and VL880 luminaires only - disconnect H1, H5 & H6 fan connectors.
CAUTION: In next step, be extremely careful when removing gobo module assembly so you do not
damage gobos or color filters.
Step 6. As shown in Figure 2-6, loosen two captive fasteners and carefully pull Gobo Module
assembly from luminaire.

Step 7. Reinstall by performing steps in reverse order.
CAUTION:
Remove power and
allow fixture to cool.
