Strobe Blade Replacement
WARNING: Ensure that power is completely removed (disconnected) from luminaire before
attempting any work. Wear protection on hands (soft cotton gloves) when handling glass.
To remove the strobe assembly:
Step 1. Remove appropriate strobe assembly as described in “Strobe Assembly Replacement” on
page 50.
Note: Cone Set Screw has Loctite 242 and may require small amount of heat to loosen.
Step 2. Using 1/16" Allen driver, loosen cone set screw attaching strobe assembly to motor shaft.
Step 3. Remove strobe blade assembly.
Step 4. To Install, power motor to hold on whole step.
Step 5. Hold blade against stop in closed position and slide blade onto motor shaft.
Step 6. Set height per tolerance as shown in Figure 2-36.

Step 7. Apply Loctite 242 to cone set screw threads.
Step 8. Tighten set screw.
Step 9. Reinstall strobe assembly.
