Driver Board Assembly Removal
WARNING: Ensure that power is completely removed (disconnected) from luminaire before
attempting any work.
To remove driver board assembly:
CAUTION: When handling printed circuit boards (such as the MCU assembly) make sure to follow
appropriate precautions to protect them ESD damage.
Step 1. Remove power from luminaire and allow unit to completely cool.
Step 2. Remove front cover assembly as described in “Front Cover Assembly Removal” on page 19.
Step 3. Remove MCU assembly as described in “Main Control Unit (MCU) Assembly Removal” on
page 27.
Step 4. At driver board assembly, disconnect the following cable assemblies:
a. Pan Motor Power (make note of connector orientation) - Connector J9
b. 36Vdc - Connector J6
c. Zoom Harness
d. Gobo Harness
e. Tilt Harness - Connector J3
f. Pan Encoder - Connector J1
g. Edge Harness
h. CYMD Harness
Step 5. At driver board assembly, remove two 4-40 x 3/8" PPZ SEMS screws as indicated in Figure
2-10 on page 27.
