An advantage of a rolling shutter with global reset is a reduction in image artifacts typical of rolling shutters such as
skew and wobble. However, because exposure lengthens throughout the frame, there may be a gradual increase in
brightness from top to bottom of an image. For more information, see Rolling Shutter Artifacts on page 128.
6.4 Asynchronous Triggering
The camera supports asynchronous triggering, which allows the start of exposure (shutter) to be initiated by an
external electrical source (hardware trigger) or camera register write (software trigger).
