Final Assembly, Cont.
6. Install chaincase cover gasket in chaincase.
Install chaincase cover and torque cover bolts to
specification.
7. Add 9 oz. (11 oz. on models equipped with
reverse) of Polaris chaincase oil to the
chaincase. Verify proper level with dipstick.
8. Torque jackshaft bearing set screws to
specification (if so equipped).
9. Lubricate bearings with Polaris Premium All
Season grease.
Chaincase Cover Bolt Torque -
8 - 10 ft. lbs. (11 - 14 Nm)
