5. The next screen will ask the user for the color code
for the fuel injectors installed on the engine. This
information can be found on the original ECU’s
information decal or the color bands on the fuel
injector wire harness. Click on either “RED”,
“YELLOW”, or “BLUE” and then click on “Continue”.
IMPORTANT
Severe engine damage may occur if the wrong fuel
injector color code is selected.
6. On the next screen, enter the oil pump offset number
into the data field. The oil pump offset number can be
found on the oil pump housing decal or the original
ECU’s information decal. Click on “Continue” after
entering the offset number.

offset number code is entered.
7. Digital Wrench will display the model number and
serial number the user entered at step 3. Verify these
numbers are accurate before clicking “Continue”.
8. Disconnect battery power from the ECU PWR test
connector and remove the old ECU from the vehicle.
9. Install the new service ECU and reconnect battery
power to the ECU PWR test connector. Click on
“Continue”. Digital Wrench will program the ECU.
10.If an error screen appears, verify the Chassis Power-
Up harness and Digital Wrench SmartLink cables are
connected to the vehicle.
