ENGINE ASSEMBLY - TOP END
PISTON INSTALLATION
1. Warm the piston to 100 - 130 °F (38 - 54 °C) for
assembly to connecting rod.
2. Install the piston onto the connecting rod.
3. Install the piston pin

into piston.
4. Install the piston circlips

in the correct orientation.
5. Install the cylinder. See Cylinder Installation page
3.98.
6. Install the cylinder head. See Cylinder Head
Installation page 3.99.
