6. Remove the nuts
u
and washers securing the seat
bracket / seat to the tunnel. Remove the seat bracket
and seat as an assembly. Discard the nuts.
7. Remove the fastener
i
securing the front fuel tank
bracket to the fuel tank. Discard the fastener.
8. While holding a clean shop rag around the fuel line
connectors at the fuel pump, disconnect the fuel
supply and return hose connectors
o
from the fuel
pump flange assembly.
NOTICE
Note the position of the supply and return fuel hoses.
Connect the 5/16” connector to the 5/16” fitting on the
pump flange and connect the 3/8” connector to the 3/8”
fitting on the pump flange.
9. Disconnect the fuel pump wire harness.
10.Remove the nuts

and washers fastening the rear
of the tank. Discard the nuts.
