2. Remove and discard the two outer O-rings. Shock Rod / Rebound Adjuster Service
IMPORTANT
The rod eyelet must be removed to service the rebound
adjuster components. Do not attempt to remove the
rebound adjuster screw with the rod installed in the
eyelet.
1. Mount the shock rod in a bench vise using the shock
shaft holding blocks.
2. Remove the set screw and the brass ball from the
eyelet. Discard the brass ball.
3. Apply heat to the area where the eyelet screws onto
the rod. Remove the eyelet from the rod.
