155” OR LONGER CONSOLE FIT
NOTICE
Make sure the console is properly installed. If it is not properly installed you may run into the following issues:
Plastic rivets
r
are difficult to install due to the mis-alignment between the air intake plenum and console
The sides of the console bow outward around the sides of the fuel tank creating a noticeable gap between the
components.
NOTICE
The air intake screen, steering post, and other assemblies were removed from the illustration to improve clarity. The
plastic rivets
r
and Torx screws
t
will have to be removed / loosened to allow for console / air intake plenum
movement.
To ensure a proper fit complete the following procedure:
1. The top of the console features tabs
q
should slide up into slots on the underside of the air intake plenum. If one or
both tabs are not in their dedicated slot(s), the console will not fit correctly.
2. Verify the console at this location
w
is mated properly with the air intake plenum on both sides of the intake
plenum.
3. When the console is mated correctly with the air intake plenum, the bottom of the console will rest in a dedicated
recess molded into the fuel tank here
