7. Select Scanner Tester (w) to perform all IPT tests or, select one of the following
stand-alone tests that are listed above and below the Scanner Tester (w) choice:
• Uniformity II.subVI - Tests Dark and Light Non Uniformity
• Noise IIw power.subVI - Tests Dark Response
• Motion&CR&Res- Tests Motion/Color Registration
• ProgramXilinx&Dsp&gotoHiRes.vi - Scanner initialization and code download for
scanner internal programmable logic.
8. After the Scanner Tester software loads, a dialog box appears (Figure 5-7) requesting you
to select a Constants file.

9. Double-Click on the constants file for the slide scanner you are testing:
• Constants SS35 V5.X for the SprintScan 35ES
• Constants SS35+ V5.X for the SprintScan 35 Plus
• Constants SS35+ V5.X (fw) for SprintScan 35 with filter wheel
