Error Messages
The scanner is capable of generating four (4) types of error messages:
• Diagnostic (Digital Hardware)
• Operational
• Calibration
• Miscellaneous
The generated error messages are displayed cumulatively in hexadecimal by the host computer.
They are grouped as four (4) consecutive hexadecimal bytes in least significant byte (LSB) to
most significant byte (MSB). Refer to conversion Table 5-1 to translate displayed hexadecimal
error messages. The example error message shows a multiple error.
