Electrostatic Discharge Warning
Slide scanner circuitry can easily be damaged by small static discharges. Always use an anti-static
mat and a wrist-strap when removing the slide scanner top housing or servicing it with the top
housing removed.
Inspection and Cleaning
Whenever disassembling a slide scanner for parts replacement, inspect the slide scanner for dust
and debris. If necessary, clean the slide scanner to assure that dust in the optical path does not
degrade its performance.
