Slide Scanner Repair Manual Calibration and Adjustments
Warnings and Precautions
Voltages
The adjustment and alignment procedures require that the slide scanner be powered with the top
housing removed. Use extreme caution to avoid electrical shock from the points shown in
Figure 3-1. Also use caution when handling test leads, which may carry high-voltage when the
slide scanner is powered.

Electrostatic Discharge Warning
Slide scanner circuitry can easily be damaged by small static discharges. Always use an anti-static
mat and a wrist-strap when removing the slide scanner top housing or servicing it with the top
housing removed.
