Stored Test Results
The test results are stored in a spreadsheet file, with a single row given to each run of the test.
The format of the data is similar to the output of the original tester. The tester automatically
creates a folder named Polaroid Test Results and files data in two categories:
results_ss35 for the SprintScan 35 or ES
or
results_ss35p for the SprintScan 35 Plus
When a file exceeds 75k, the program appends the name with the present date and, if
necessary, an index then proceeds with the new results file.
In order to differentiate between the pass/fail and partial tests, status data is formatted
appropriately. If all GMT tests were performed, then the entry in column ALL GMT is TRUE.
If all GMT tests successfully passed, the entry in ALL GMT PASS is also TRUE. Similarly, the
entry in the columns CT Done and CT PASS indicate whether the color patch test was
performed and passed respectively. The data in these columns will be used to sort the data
into appropriate groups before analysis.
Stopping a Scanner Test
Note: It is not recommended that the test sequence be stopped in the middle of a test
sequence. However, if an emergency condition occurs, use the following steps to
stop and re-start the test.
Stopping a Test in progress
1. Click the mouse on the Stop box on the upper menu to completely stop the slide
scanner test sequence.
The black arrow changes to a white arrow indicating that the LabVIEW tester has
stopped running.
Note: The part of the test sequence running will complete before the carriage motion
actually stops
2. To restart the scanner tester, click the mouse on the Start Test, the arrow becomes
black again and all partial test results will be erased. A complete new test starts.
Stopping a Test in progress
To quit the scanner tester due to malfunction or, before the selected image quality tests are
completed, just click the mouse on the Close box at the upper menu.
