Component Functions
Secondary Color Secondary color correction is performed by this
Correction ASIC ASIC. It performs operations based on the color
pixel triplets, including color processing, adaptive
sharpening, and color mode.
SCSI Interface Used to communicate with the host computer, down
loads signal processing parameters to the slide
scanner and to send processed image data to the
host computer.
Host Computer Initiates a scan sequence via SCSI communication with
slide scanner; receives image data from slide scanner,
stores it in memory and displays it on the display
monitor; provides a means of adjusting factors for
scan area, resolution mode, color correction and for
downloading them to the slide scanner.
