3. Select one of the desired control channels to disable and touch within the Product Control Settings area as
indicated in the image below.
For example, select Node 5 and touch within the Product Control Settings area to display the first node
settings screen for control channel 5.
4. Touch the displayed meter cal value. Using the on-screen keyboard, enter a new meter cal value of ‘8888.’
5. Touch the OK button to return to the CAN Controller Status screen.
6. Select any other node control channels to disable and enter a meter cal value of ‘8888’ as described in the
above steps. Control channels on the air cart should be disabled in order based upon the number of
channels required to control the air cart bins.
For Example:
When controlling an air cart with two product bins, the air cart node should be connected to the air cart
control hardware and should be assigned to sequential control channels (i.e. 1 and 2). The remaining
control channels (3, 4 and 5) on the air cart node should be disabled. The two air cart products should not
be assigned to non-sequential channels (i.e. 2 and 4).
7. Touch the OK button in the lower, right corner of the CAN Controller Status screen.
8. Select the Menu button in the lower, right corner of the Viper Pro main screen and select Exit and Exit to
Menu option.
