Initial Set Up and Navigation
Wireless Communication Status
The status of wireless communications is displayed on the Viper Pro main screen in the tool bar below the
map.
Note: For more information on using the wireless communication features with the Viper Pro, see
Appendix H, Wireless Communications and Remote Service.
For instructions on installing and setting up the Slingshot Field Hub, refer to the Field Hub
Installation Guide provided with the wireless device.
Product Rates Area
The current target (R
T
) and actual (R
A
) application rate is displayed for each product node or control channel in
the product rates area. The product rates area also displays a bin or tank level for each product currently
detected on the CANbus.
Note: Only products detected on the CANbus will appear in the application rates area. Refer to the Bin
Level Sensor Calibration section on page 43 to calibrate the air cart bin level sensors. See the
Tank Volume section on page 156 for more information on setting the tank or bin levels for
additional products.
