4.3.2 FLATBED REMOVAL
1. Left side cover ( p.4-26 "Left Side Cover Removal").
2. Left scanner cover (
p.4-85 "Left Scanner Cover Removal").
3. Right scanner cover (
p.4-86 "Right Scanner Cover Removal").
4. Right side cover (
p.4-66 "Right Side Cover Removal").
5. ADF unit (
p.4-72 "ADF Unit Removal").
6. Raise the flatbed unit to the up position.
7. Controller board shield (
p.4-10 "Controller Board Shield").
8. Disconnect connector J28, connector J13, connector J30, and sensor cables from connector
J12 on the controller board.
9. Using a flatbed screwdriver, depress the lower tab on the kickstand, and lift the kickstand out
of the left rear frame assembly.
10. Remove the e-clip (A) from the flatbed hinge rod.
