Maintenance procedures
The URISYS 2400 analyzer requires proper care and attention. Regular
maintenance ensures that excessive contamination of the analyzer is avoided
and that the analyzer works reliably.
Every day
The following are maintenance procedures to be performed daily:
o Execute the wash procedure when work has ended for the day.
o Clean the TS transfer base.
o Empty the strip waste container.
o Empty the liquid waste tank.
Handle liquid waste and used test strips properly, and according to legislation on
water pollution, and treatment of drainage and waste matter.
Spilled chemicals and samples must be wiped up immediately. It is especially
important to protect the plug connections from contamination.
Carefully follow the procedures specified in the Operator’s Manual for the operation
and maintenance of the analyzer. Leave maintenance of other areas to the Roche
Technical Support.
Be aware that the TS transfer base, strip waste container and liquid waste tank may
be contaminated with potentially hazardous material. Always wear gloves when
handling these parts.
