Send control sample
data to the host
computer
This option is available for batch sending. The host connection must be
activated.
Sample data are transferred only for the control level selected.
a To send control sample data to the host computer
1 Press <Level> on the [Control Data Monitor] screen to select the level of
controls.
2 Select <Concentr.> or <Reflectance>.
3 Press <Media>. The [Control Data Monitor Media] screen is displayed.
4 Enter the range of sequence numbers between 1 and 100 to be sent to the
host computer. Enter 0 to send all data to the host computer.
5 Press <Send>. The [Confirmation] window appears.
6 Press <OK>.
7 Press <Quit> to terminate the transfer of data at any time.
If concentration is selected, only the concentration results are sent to the host.
If reflectance is selected, both concentration and reflectance results are sent to
the host.
Write/read control
sample data to/from a
diskette
This option allows for data to be saved to a diskette or for data to be read from
a diskette. Control sample data are written to a diskette only for the selected
level. A DOS formatted 1.44 MB diskette is needed.
a To write/read control sample data to/from a diskette
1 Press <Level> on the [Control Data Monitor] screen to select the level of
controls.
2 Press <Media>. The [Control Data Monitor Media] screen is displayed.
3 Enter the range of sequence numbers to be written to a diskette, using
numbers between 1 and 100. Enter 0 to write all sample data of the selected
level.
4 Press <FD R/W>. The [Confirmation] window appears.
5 Press <File Type> to select the format of the files to be written/read (ASCII
or binary).
6 Insert diskette.

To send control sample data to the host, the analyzer must be in Stand-By status.
