Replace an expired URISYS 2400 cassette
Replace an expired URISYS 2400 cassette
When a URISYS 2400 cassette has exceeded its 14-day on-board stability, and
the cassette is not yet empty, it must be exchanged with a new one.
a To replace an expired URISYS 2400 cassette
1 Press <Menu> on the [Routine Monitor] screen. The [Menu] screen is
displayed.
2 Press <Maintenance>. The [Maintenance] screen is displayed.
3 Press <Change Cassette>. The [Change Cassette] screen is displayed.
4 Press <Remove>. A confirmation window appears.
5 Press <Execute>. The cassette base rises to the removal position. A “Do
not open the door” message is displayed, followed by an “Exchange
cassette and press <Yes> key” message.
6 Open the cassette compartment door.
7 Remove the cassette by pulling the handle on the left side of the cassette
and take out the cassette.
8 Insert a new cassette as described in:
9 Press <Yes> to return to the [Change Cassette] screen.
10 Enter the lot number of the cassette if it is different to the previous
cassette. This number is printed on the outer packaging box.
11 Press <Enter> to confirm the entry.
12 Press <New>. The cassette mechanism is set to the working position.
13 When the setting is complete, press <OK> to return to the [TS Cassette]
screen.
14 Press <Home> to return to the [Routine Monitor] screen.
The analyzer must be in the Stand-By status. If it is not, press <STOP> on the
[Routine Monitor] screen and wait for the Stand-By status to appear.

When the new cassette is inserted, the [Routine Monitor] screen indicates the
number of remaining strips as “400” and the new loading date. The analyzer is now
ready for further processing.
