Checks
Checks
The operator can perform a variety of checks by using the [Tools] screen.
These include a barcode check, printer check, and program check. The
analyzer must be in Stand-By status.
Barcode check
Using this option, barcodes of racks and sample tubes can be read and the
barcode numbers can be printed out. To use this function, the barcode reader
must be set to Enabled.
a To check the barcode
1 Press <Tools> on the [Menu] screen. The [Tools] screen is displayed.
2 Place the rack, if required, with sample tubes with barcode labels on the
rack input line.
3 Press <Barcode Check>. The [Barcode Check] window is displayed.
4 Press <Execute>.
5 After completing the reading of barcodes, the barcode numbers are
printed.
Printer check
This option checks the appearance of the printout of characters.
a To check the printer
1 Press <Tools> on the [Menu] screen. The [Tools] screen is displayed.
2 Press <Printer Check>. The [Printer Check] window appears.
3 Press <Execute>. A list of characters is printed.
Program check
This option checks the actual software version installed on the analyzer.
a To check the program
1 Press <Tools> on the [Menu] screen. The [Tools] screen is displayed.
2 Press <Program Check>. After approximately 30 seconds, the [Program
Check] window appears, displaying the program version and language
version, and their check sum.
3 Press <Execute> to print the program version, or <Cancel> to return to
the [Tools] screen.
