Replace an empty URISYS 2400 cassette
Replace an empty URISYS 2400 cassette
When a URISYS 2400 cassette is empty, an alarm message is generated and the
<Change TS Cassette> button on the [Routine Monitor] screen is enabled.
The status of the analyzer changes to S.Stop (TS Empty). The analyzer finishes
measuring the test strips being processed.
a To replace an empty URISYS 2400 cassette
1 Press <Change TS Cassette> on the [Routine Monitor] screen. The [TS
Cassette (S.Stop)] screen appears.
2 Press <Remove>. The [Change Cassette] window appears.
3 Press <Execute>. The Do not open the door window message is
displayed, followed by an Exchange cassette and press <Yes> key
message.
4 Open the cassette compartment door.
5 Remove the cassette by pulling the handle on the left side of the cassette
and take out the cassette.
6 Open a new URISYS 2400 package, unfold the aluminum bag and cut it
open with scissors.
7 Remove the cassette from the packaging
and remove the two protection covers.
8 Place the cassette on the opened door with the label facing out and move it
smoothly into the cassette compartment.
9 Push the cassette completely to the rear of the compartment and close the
door firmly.
10 Press <Yes> to return to the [TS Cassette (S.Stop)] screen.
11 Enter the lot number of the cassette if it is different to the previous
cassette. This number is printed on the outer packaging box.
12 Press <Enter> to confirm the entry.
13 Press <Re-Start> to set the cassette mechanism to the working position.
After completion of the setting, the analyzer automatically resumes
Operation status and continues processing samples.

When the new cassette is inserted, the [Routine Monitor] screen indicates the
number of remaining strips as 400 and the new loading date.
