Process STAT (emergency) samples
Process STAT (emergency) samples
By using the STAT position on the analyzer, the operator can give priority to a
single emergency sample.
There are three statuses in which a STAT sample can be measured:
o Operation status, during routine sampling
o Sampling Stop status, after interruption or completion of routine
sampling
o Starting from Stand-By status
Sample ID and rack ID are not read in the STAT position of the analyzer. To
enter a STAT sample ID manually, the barcode reader at the cross-feed line
must be set to “Enable”.
During routine sampling
This procedure can be performed while other samples are being processed
and the analyzer is in Operation status.
The STAT sample is given priority over other samples. After measurement of
the STAT sample, measurement of routine samples resumes.
STAT sample results are stored in a separate STAT sample memory. STAT samples
are marked on the result printout with an “E” preceding the sequence number.
