Process STAT (emergency) samples
a To insert a STAT sample during routine sampling
1 Place the STAT sample in position 1 of a sample rack.
2 Place the rack in the STAT position on the analyzer with position 1 facing
the rear of the analyzer.
3 Press <STAT> on the [Routine Monitor] screen. The [STAT] screen is
displayed.
4 Enter a STAT ID (if available, and barcode reader enabled) for the sample
using alphanumerical characters.
5 Press <Enter> to confirm the entry.
6 Press <OK>.
The STAT sample is processed in the next sampling cycle. After that,
processing of routine samples resumes.
Only one STAT sample can be processed at a time.
If the status of the analyzer changes to Rack End (Norm) while a STAT sample
is being prepared, wait until sampling stops and the status of the analyzer
changes to Sampling Stop, before proceeding.
