Sample preparation
If the sample tubes are labeled with barcodes, ensure that the barcode labels
are correctly aligned with the barcode reader. For more information about the
specifications of usable barcodes and the placement of labels on sample tubes,
see:
Loading the rack(s) onto the analyzer
It is possible to set a maximum of 15 racks on the input line at one time. There
are two ways of loading the racks onto the analyzer:
o Use a rack tray.
o Load directly onto the input line, without a rack tray.
a To load racks using a rack tray
1 Place the sample tubes in the racks.
2 Place the racks on a rack tray (maximum 15 racks).
3 Hook the rack tray into the notches in front of the rack input line.
4 Move the racks smoothly from the tray onto the rack input line.

Do not set the racks directly on the cross-feed line.
