6.10. Firing continuation in the event of a power failure
• In the event of a power failure during the firing, the controller can automatically continue the firing after the power
failure.
• In the event of a power failure during the lead time, the start is delayed by the remaining lead time when the mains
voltage returns.
• In the event of a power failure during the ramp phase, the controller returns to the previously executed ramp.
• In the event of a power failure during the hold phase, the controller goes to the hold temperature at the set heating rate
and then carries out the remaining hold time
7. Error messages
If the control unit detects a problem, the buzzer will sound, and an error message will be displayed.
7.1. Display screen
Main display This error message will alternate with a display of the kiln temperature.
Segment display Displays the respective segment number where the error may have occurred.
7.2. Reading error messages
Press the h key to obtain more
information on the error.
The first press will display the maximum temperature reached in the
firing.
Press the h key again to display the
length of time the error has been
present.
The buzzer will mute.
7.3. General error messages
Cause of error / Troubleshooting
Err. 1
• Heating error.
• The kiln temperature is not
increasing as required.
• The kiln has been on full power
for 15 minutes, but the
temperature has not increased
by at least 2°C.
• Kiln door or lid not completely closed.
• Defective door switch
• Door switch needs to be adjusted.
• Heating element circuit open
• Heating elements too old
• Electrical power phase failure

Contactor failure

Thermocouple or thermocouple
wiring disconnected.
• Get thermocouple and wiring checked.
• Replace thermocouple if necessary.
Err.3
Thermocouple wired incorrectly
• Kiln temperature apparently below
-40°C
• This is an installation fault.
