Editing a song / pattern

Copying a pattern
1.
Access the PATTERN LIST screen as described in “Selecting a pattern” (p. 168).
2.
Use CURSOR [ ] [ ] to select the pattern you want to copy.
3.
Press [MENU].
The MENU popup will appear.
4.
Select “Copy Pattern...” and press [F5](Select).
The COPY PATTERN popup (Screen Guide; p. 97) will appear.
5.
Select the copy-destination number, and press [F5](Yes).
● You can’t specify the copy-source pattern number as the copy destination.
● You can audition the pattern after process to assign patterns to pads.
Initializing (Erasing) patterns
1.
Access the PATTERN LIST screen as described in “Selecting a pattern” (p. 168).
2.
Use CURSOR [ ] [ ] to select the pattern you want to initialize.
3.
Press [MENU].
The MENU popup will appear.
4.
Select “Initialize Pattern” and [F5](Select).
“Initialize Sure?” message will appear.
5.
Press [F5](Yes).
● If you initialize the pattern that is selected in the PATTERN screen, the lowest-numbered pattern in the project
will be automatically selected.
● You cannot initialize all of the patterns. (The project will contain at least one pattern.)
