Backing up a project from the MV-8800 to your computer
1.
Connect the MV-8800 and your computer as described in “To start communication with
your computer” (p. 289).
Communication between the MV-8800 and your computer will begin.
2.
View the contents of the MV-8800’s hard disk as described in “Copying files from your
computer to the MV-8800” (p. 290).
3.
Double-click the “PROJECTS” folder.
You will see a list of folders for the projects that are saved in the MV-8800.
4.
Drag and drop the entire folder for the project you want to back-up onto the hard disk of
your computer.
The project data will be copied to your computer.

To back up a project, you must copy the “project folder.” Roland will not guarantee operation if you
manipulate individual files saved within a project folder.
