● Using the Pencil tool to enter note event
When you click the Pencil button, the mouse pointer will change to . The pencil tool lets you enter note
events.
1 Click the Pencil button.
You can enter the note event by clicking the mouse.

Use the Step Time parameter to select the length (note value) of the note events you want
to enter.

Use the Duration and Velocity parameters to specify the duration (the time that the note will
actually sound, relative to the Step Time) and velocity (the strength of the note) of the note
event.
4.
Click the position that corresponds to the pitch you want to enter.
A note event of the specified length will be entered where you click.
● Using the Eraser Tool to delete a data
When you click the Eraser button, the mouse pointer will change to . You can delete note event by
clicking it with the Eraser tool.
