3. Replace the encoder in the application. Make sure that this is the same encoder type
(ATM60, Sick-Stegmann).
4. Switch the DC 24 V supply voltage and the mains voltage back on.
5. Switch the system to service mode.
6. Re-connect terminal X17 to MOVIDRIVE
®
B.
7. Move to the mechanical basic settings in safe jog mode (def. position, final position,
or similar).
8. Switch off the power supply voltage.
9. Remove terminal X17 from MOVIDRIVE
®
B to prevent MOVIDRIVE
®
B from
enabling the motor or the brake unintentionally.
10.Activate the electronic adjustment on the encoder ("set" signal or "set" button on the
encoder housing).
11.Re-connect terminal X17 to MOVIDRIVE
®
B.
12.Switch on the power supply voltage.
13.Move the drive in safe jog mode and use the SCOPE function to check the transmit-
ted position and velocity signals of your encoder.
