6.3.2 P890 Protocol SBus 2
Setting range: DCS safety monitor
/ CANopen / DCS protocol
As soon as the MOVIDRIVE
®
MDX61B inverter detects the DCS..B option, the
parameter is automatically set to "DCS safety monitor".
6.3.3 P894 Baud rate SBus 2
Setting range: 125 / 250 / 500
/ 100 kBaud
P894 sets the transmission speed of SBus 2. As soon as the MOVIDRIVE
®
MDX61B
inverter detects the DCS..B option, the parameter is automatically set to "500 kBaud".
The total of the baud rates specified in P884/P894 must not exceed 1125 kBaud.
6.3.4 P951 Counting direction
Setting range: NORMAL
/ INVERTED
Defines the counting direction of the absolute encoder. The setting must be made so the
counting direction of the motor encoder (X15) and the absolute encoder (X62) match.
6.3.5 P952 Clock rate
Setting range: 1
– 200%
Defines the clock rate at which absolute encoder information is transmitted from the
encoder to the inverter. Clock rate = 100% corresponds to the nominal frequency of the
encoder.
6.4 Communication and establishing a connection
The RS485 interface X87 of option DCS..B is implemented as RJ10 socket. It allows
parameterization and diagnostics of the option using the Windows
®
based software
interfaces MOVISAFE
®
Config and MOVISAFE
®
Assist.
The PC can be connected with the parameterization and diagnostic interface X87 of the
DCS..B option using, for example, the interface adapter UWS21B (RS232 to RS485) or
USB11A (USB to RS485). It is not possible to set parameters via the PROFIsafe fieldbus
connection (PROFIBUS or PROFINET).
When using the DCS31B option, the logic is processed in RUN mode. When using the
DCS21B option, the safety functions can be activated via PROFIsafe. Parameteriza-
tion/programming is only possible in STOP mode. You can set the option back to RUN
mode once you have sent the configuration and the message "Configuration success-
fully written to flash" has appeared.
