6 - MACHINE INSTALLATION
6.1 Features of the room of machine installation
The machines must operate exclusively indoors, protected from the elements, where there are
no explosive atmospheres.
The workplace must have enough natural light assisted by artificial light in order to protect the
health of the operator and allow the use of the machine safely.
The minimum illumination under standard conditions must be 300 lux.
The machine must be installed in a large area to allow the control of the productive cycle and
to carry out the maintenance and cleaning operations without risks. Along the entire perimeter
of the machine are needed 1,5 meters.
The ambient temperature is very important for the correct operation of the machine. Therefore
the packaging process should be under the following environmental conditions:
- variable operating temperatures from + 10°C to + 35°C.
- relative humidity: maximum 70%
6.2 Flooring of installation room
• Make sure that the floor where the machine will be installed is not uneven, impairing its
normal and correct positioning.
• It is necessary to ensure that foundations are able to support the weight of the machine and
that the height of the room is high enough. For this purpose, in the negotiation phase must
be provided a layout with the indication of such data.
6.3 Storage
If the machine is not installed quickly but stored for a prolonged time it is recommended to
maintain the components in their original packaging, carrying out the storage in a place with
environmental features:
- temperature: +2 ÷ +35 °C;
- relative humidity 90% Max (not condensed);
- closed environment and protected from the weather.
Values of temperature or humidity exceeding those indicated above can damage the
components.
- verify that the supporting surface on which are deposited the parts of the machine is able to
support them easily;
- do not put over the machine boxes, cases or heavy equipment;
- do not place the components close to flammable material.
