When the initial adjustment phase is complete it will be possible to access the MANUAL, SEMI-
AUTOMATIC, AUTOMATIC, FREE PASSAGE operating modes on the machine.
9.5 Procedure to switch off the machine
Once the packaging process has been stopped, turn the main switch to the OFF position.
9.6 Access to the operating modes
The operating modes of the machine can be accessed from the main menu by pressing the
“MAN” and “AUTO” keys on the operator panel.
Man allows you to access the MANUAL operating mode; you can use this mode to make
necessary adjustments to change the format and/or change the film reel.
Auto allows you to access one of the operating modes of the machine described here below
and set in the "Options"→"Operation" menu.
SEMI-AUTOMATIC
Every time the START key is pressed an individual pack is packaged.
AUTOMATIC
Every time the START key is pressed continuous packaging of incoming packs starts on the
infeed belt.
FREE PASSAGE
By setting this mode the film dragging functions and sealing operations are disabled allowing
products to pass through only at a steady speed. (the sealing bar and the side sealer do not
heat up)
9.7 Manual operating mode
This mode allows you to regulate the changeover and to replace the reel. By activating the
MANUAL mode, the functions for keys F1, F2, F3 will be unblocked. In order to have access
to it, press the key “MAN”.
When selecting the Manual operating mode, the machine doors must be shut.
