6.7 Electrical connection of the machine
Power must be cut from the machine for all operations involving connection to the
electrical network. These operations must be carried out by qualified
personnel.
Before accessing the electrical system it is mandatory to switch off power supply and
wait at least 5 minutes before handling.
THE EARTH CONNECTION IS COMPULSORY!
Connecting the machine to the mains must be carried out in compliance with standards in force
in the user's country.
Check to make sure that the machine's power supply frequency and voltage (see plate
applied on the machine) correspond to the power supply network.
6.8 Pneumatic connection of the machine
Only if optional pneumatic operation systems are used shall the pneumatic connection be
made by the user by means of Ø 10 mm tube to be inserted into the fitting (3) of the air handling
unit shown in paragraph 3.6.
6.9 Modalities of use of the machine
The machine can be installed with a conveyor belt on the infeed side and with a conveyor belt
or a shrink tunnel on the outfeed side.
Depending on how it want to configure the line is necessary to mount suitable protections on
the machine, in order to achieve the safety requirements.
> Use of the machine alone (without the shrink tunnel)
When the machine is used without
the shrink tunnel it is essential for
safety purposes to purchase and
install on the outfeed side the roller
belt with plexiglass protection that
prevents reaching hazardous areas
by the opening used for the passage
of the product.
