8.4.2 Inserting the film inside the unwinder unit
The film must be inserted inside the unwinding of the machine respecting the unwinding
direction (clockwise or anticlockwise) shown in the figure.
Make sure that the Manual operating
mode is selected.
Open the guard (F) on the reel holder
and pull lever (8) to open the contrast
roll, then open the perforators (9) too
acting on the special handles and insert
the film. Then lower the lever (8) and
close the perforators.
At this point it is necessary to put particular attention to continue the unwinding of the film in
the rollers as shown in fig. 8.4.5, it is necessary drag the film and move manually the
thensioning bar (10), this operation involves the activation of the motor of the unwinder with
residual risk of entaglement.
It is very important that this operation be performed only by trained personnel.
