• with the electric panel open.
• with the machine guards dismantled.
• with the electrical connections altered in order to by-pass internal safety devices.
• without suitable PPE for the operations to be carried out.
The machine must also not be used:
• in an explosive atmosphere or with a high concentration of dust or oily substances
suspended in the air.
• in an atmosphere at risk of fire.
• in outdoor environments exposed to the elements.
ATTENTION! - All users must have the necessary permits to operate the machines. The
allocation of duties and tasks must be carried out by the responsible for security in full
compliance with the safety requirements in the workplace as described in current regulations.
The manufacturer do not assumes the responsibility for failure to comply with this
requirements. If required please contact SMIPACK before any eventual change to the relative
consent.
7.4 Operator points
The operator positions during start-up, stop the machine and during production are located in
the points shown in the figure.
1 - In proximity of the main switch for
switching on and off the machine.
2 - In proximity of the operator panel
to manage and control production.
3 - In proximity of the reel-holder of
the machine for replacement of the
film reel in exhaustion.
7.5 Improper use of the machine
Improper conduct due to negligence:
• use the machine without implementing the requisite PPE; this conduct can cause harm to
the operator.
