7 - USE OF THE MACHINE
7.1 Function description
• In the infeed area the guides provide to channel the loose containers transported by a first
conveyor belt.
• The containers pass under the large metal squares where are wrapped with the film; the
unwinding of the film reel is controlled by a special motor and a tensioning bar unit equipped
with rollers that allows the correct tensioning of the film while another device allows the
drag.
• The start of the packaging cycle is managed by the detecting photocells (horizontal and
vertical) which detect the passage of the product.
• The pack is L-sealed by the sealing bar.
• The waste of the film is dragged and wrapped on a special motorized device.
• The pack is transported by a second conveyor belt towards the outfeed of the machine; if
the machine is connected in the outfeed side with a shrink tunnel, the film will adhere
completely to the product.
