Compensation Control Workspaces: The option selected here defines
the type of Workspaces that are created for the compensation setup
panel.
The "No negative control" option is the default selection. This will create a
compensation control Workspace for each of the classified fluorescence
parameters present within the original Workspace selected.
The "Negative control sample" option will add a negative control Worklist
item and Workspace within the compensation setup panel which will run
a negative control for baseline background measurement.
The "Use negative regions" option will add a negative region to each of
the fluorescence plots within the compensation control Workspaces.
Verification Workspace: Selecting the "Include Verification Workspace"
check box will add a verification item to the compensation setup panel.
The verification item will include a verification Workspace and the
instrument settings file of the compensation setup panel.
Prefix Name and Save Location: If desired, enter a prefix name for the
Workspace, panel and settings file created by the compensation setup
procedure. The default name will be the name of the original Workspace
file selected. The default save location will be the last location used. If
desired, click the Browse button to select another file for the created
compensation settings file to be saved.
On clicking the OK button, the required compensation setup panel,
Workspaces and instrument settings file will be created. The created panel
will be inserted into the Worklist.
The created files will be named as follows:
Panel: <prefix name>-SetupPanel.xml
Voltage adjust Workspace: <prefix name>voltage.xmlws

Compensation setup panel
The compensation setup panel will be created using the selections made in
the Create Compensation Panel dialogue. The created Workspaces are
placed in the compensation setup panel. The parameters selected will show
scaling as dictated by the original Workspace file. The panel is set to load
the instrument settings from the associated instrument settings file. The
instrument settings file contains the voltages, trigger logic and threshold
information from the selected source Workspace file.
