The Parameter Zoom tab contains the following columns:
The "Parameter" column contains the display name for each parameter in
the listmode file. This column has a tooltip detailing the acceptable range
for the Scale Min and Scale Max with respect to the scale type selected.
The "Scale Type" column contains a box that allows the selection of the
scale type (Lin, Log or V-Log) to which the range will be applied. The
default scale type is set from the current Workspace. For low-resolution
LMD files, only the scale type specified in the LMD file header is
available. It is displayed in the "Scale Type" column and the box is read
only.
The "Scale Min" and "Scale Max" columns display the current minimum
and maximum values for the scaling of a parameter. You can manually
change these values. The values allowed for Scale Min and Scale Max
are limited to the range indicated by the settings in the Default Scaling
tab. When editing the "Scale Min" and "Scale Max" fields, if an error
occurs, the corresponding values will be highlighted in red. Hover over
the value to display a tooltip indicating the reason for error.
The Parameter Zoom tab provides the following buttons:
Reset Selected Parameters: Click the button to reset the values for the
currently selected parameters to their defaults.
Reset All Parameters: Click the button to reset the values for all
parameters to their defaults.
12.4.6 Compensation tab
The Compensation tab provides controls allowing you to calculate
fluorescence compensation.
The correct compensation for a file can be obtained in a number of ways.
Compensation values can be restored from the LMD file header values if the
values were stored with the file. You can also calculate the compensation
within the software and save these calculated values for future use. By
default, the software will automatically load compensation values from the
listmode file header. The status of the compensation settings of the current
file is displayed in the status bar.
In Worklist mode, compensation modifications are applied to the
compensation settings stored in the Workspace.
Wizard group
The Compensation Wizard is only available in Playlist mode. The
Compensation Wizard simplifies the process of generating a full
fluorescence compensation matrix.
Before starting the Compensation Wizard, you need to load all of the single
stained samples and (if appropriate) the negative control sample into the
Playlist. For ease of use, you should order the files with the negative control
first, followed by the single stained samples in parameter order, e.g. FL1,
